my very happening weekend

on friday night, i was playing my guitar and heard a bird up in my room's skylight. so i caught it and released it, the bird was a fruit dove.

last night everyone was out for dinner except me and the maid. she came to my door to tell me there was a snake in her bathroom. i went to have a look and it was all black. it turned out to be a black spitting cobra. i called the police and all but they couldnt kill it or take it away. it even flared at a paper ball! it even flared up and hissed loudly at me when i approached it. It was about 4-5 feet long and all curled up in the corner. super cool!! but quite scary.

i wonder what will turn up today, tonight or tomorrow! hahax

pain and sorrow oozes from every pore.
I'm like an unwanted item!
Thrown into the corner,
to be left forever or till you need me.
I seem to have been lying here for eternity.

Dear diary

i just got my results for the half term... the 2 words to describe my feelings now- dejected and bruised.

spend half an hour snapping photos of flowers and plants in my garden. a few days ago. the wonders of a macro function on a digital camera and a flash. the shots turn out pretty interesting too.

i've been thinking lately. i feel dry. i don't feel God in my life. i think its just me but i don't really know. i do know he is with me even though i don't ask him to be there and that he is holding me in the palm of his hand.
if he would carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, surely he will carry you.

I've thought about people i used to know who have passed away and people are getting old. the burning question was where will you go when you walk through the door called death? my answer? well, i know that when i walk through, Jesus will meet me on the other side.

the thoughts i end this entry with are as follows.
What does life mean to you?
How do you live each day?
do you savour each moment?
take things that happen as they come?
think ahead?
look back and reflect?

If a friend does something wrong or if someone hurts you, write it in the sand that the waves or the wind will erase it. if a friend saves you or does something kind to you, carve this in a rock that it will be there forever. Two wrongs do not make a right.

snippet from today's sermon that has stuck in my head.
about Cairn and Abel.
when Cairn killed his brother Abel,
the Lord spoke to Cairn and asked,"Where is your brother Abel?".
"I don't know,"he replied," Am I my brother's keeper?"
The Lord said," What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground. Now you are under curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to recieve your brother's blood from you hand. When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth."

Short update
sailing today was fuN!! wind was super strong and i had a great time surfing waves going downwind. it was really fast and scary but exciting. in short, i didnt capsize going downwind and managed to link 7 waves together. whoohoo! this week i've got a math test so don't expect many updates.
